The Open Video Player initiative has just released version 2.0 of their player framework.  Open Video Player is a framework for building media players and currently features versions for both Silverlight and the Flash Platform.

De MonsterDebugger is an open source debugger for Adobe Flash, Flex and AIR. De MonsterDebugger is made in Flex and AIR by design studio De Monsters.  De MonsterDebugger provides live editing, detailed traces, testing of most methods, and best of all it is Open Source.

Open Video Player looks to provide a standard approach to the core of rich video applications.  This looks to be  great for the Flash community as it continues to grow.
